Fall Trees - Stamping Lines, Sponge Painting and more....

Students in PreK- Grade 2 have been painting fall trees in art class. We began with dipping small squares of cardboard into brown paint and stamping lines for trunks and branches. Leaves were created by painting with sponges and using the warm colors, yellow, red and orange. Sky and clouds were added last, using a paint brush. The paintings they created are on display in the hallways of JVS, during November, stop in and enjoy!

Below are photos of students working on their paintings. They provide insight into our process and show just how focused and hardworking students are in art class.
